Dream 9-14-05

I know it's been a minute but I've been keeping my dreams in my dream journal. Since I can't get to it right now and want to write these down right quick, here they are.

A couple nights ago, I had a dream about going to New Orleans. Lots of my school friends from OU were there and I was staying above a diner near New Orleans. I came down from my room and started to eat with some of my friends. I remember specifically that my old roomate KW was there. I looked back down the lenght of the diner and saw my friend MJC sitting by himself. He looked really alone by himself and upset. I went over and sat down and talked with him for a few minutes. As we talked, I remember looking out the window and seeing a fast food place that had been flooded but was now on dry land. I remember hearing someone say that this diner had never closed.

As I talked with MJC, we reminised and I found a little about how his family is doing. Then, it was time to go back over to my other friends. I gave him a hug and he clung to me and laid his head on me, like he really needed a shoulder to lean on. I hugged him back and said something comforting to him (although I don't remember what), and went back to my friends at the other table.

A few nights before that, I had a dream in which I was in my bedroom and was looking at clothes in my closest with a childhood acquiantance, Anastasia. I'm not sure why here, I hadn't seen or spoken her in many years until we ran into each other at the airport at home a few months ago. While we were in my room, LQ looked in the door, motioned to her and said, "I need you (for a minute?), can you come in the other room." She then leaves and goes into my second bedroom with him and they close the door.

I begin to wonder how long they are going to be in there because I want to get to my computer sometime. I then realize that I need to put on more clothes because I'm wearing my PJs. I then start to pull clothes out of the closest and continue to debate how much time to give them because I dont' know what they're doing and how long to give them...
